Last year my friend, Catherine Sheridan (Simon) lost her husband, Dan,  to cancer. I asked her to nominate a charity for my mini marathon fundraising and she suggested Galway Hospice Foundation as they provided great support both during and after Dan's illness. The hospice currently provides much neeeded care to 600 patients per year in their homes and other settings and is such a support to families at the most difficult of times. Please help if you can!
