I'm taking part in Pedal Against Poverty on Saturday 20th of July 2019 .
I've chosen to fundraise for Tearfund Ireland's education for Syrian refugees programme. Lebanon hosts an estimated 1.5 million Syrian refugees and almost half of these are children. Because of their refugee status these children are unable to attend school. To ensure they do not miss out on an education, Tearfund Ireland provide intervention education for Syrian refugees in Lebanon. The two learning centres are in Riyaq and Aanjar which are 40km apart. I will cycle 40km to raise awareness of the project and much needed funds to keep the project going.

All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause.
