Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page on iDonate.ie I'm taking part in Croke Park Abseils 2019 on Sunday 20th of October 2019 . I've chosen to fundraise for Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association as this charity is very close to my heart due to losing my Dad to this incurable disease 32 years ago.
Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive neurological condition that attacks the motor neurones, or nerves, in the brain and spinal cord. This means messages gradually stop reaching the muscles, which leads to weakness and wasting. MND strikes people of all ages and currently there is no cure, however symptoms can be managed to help the person achieve the best possible quality of life.
All funds raised by me will go straight to providing services to people affected by Motor Neurone Disease.
