My brother Tim is living with MND. It is very much a debilitating disease, and he continues to amaze us with his positivity, supported by Loretta, who is his amazing and supportive wife and partner.
The IMNDA association received little or no funding from the government, and relies almost totally on Fundraising efforts to provide the support to more than 300 sufferers in Ireland.
We as a family are going to do this charity walk in the Phoenix Park on the 14th of September in aid of this very worthy cause.

The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA) is the only organisation of its kind in the country providing specialised services to families affected by this terminal condition.
The Association cannot slow the progression of MND or change the outcome but we can alleviate the feelings of isolation and frustration.
