My mum, Mary Queen, was diabetic, and as a result was registered blind for the last few years of her life. But she never let it hold her back. With the help of her local support group, she was able to carry on living a full and independent life for as long as possible. This is why I am delighted to help raise funds for NCBI, who provide advice and support to those with Sight Loss in Ireland.
Over the course of June, July and August I will be running /walking 500km,which is the length of the Wild Atlantic Way in County Donegal. https://excelsports.lpages.co/wild-atlantic-500k-virtual-challenge/ This is a 'virtual' event, so for the most part it will be done in my local area.
