Hi there. I have volunteered this year for my 2nd Tour de Munster Charity Cyle to raise much needed funds for Down Syndrome Ireland (DSI). The cycle takes place from Thursday, August 5th to Sunday, August 8th and will see me and approximately 130 other cyclists pedal a demanding 600km route as we navigate our way through every Munster county.

Unfortunately this year has been another difficult year for people affected by DS. Due to Covid-19, most have been unable to access vital services and therapy for months. Moreover Covid-19 has also forced the cancellation of most of the usual events which are vital to funding the therapy which will be key to recovery and the future of our most vulnerable friends with DS.

Everyone participating in the event covers their own costs and all funds raised through the event go directly to DSI. All donations I receive go to the Cork Branch of DSI and will be used to fund vital projects for children, young people and adults with Down Syndrome. Through your generosity the 21st Tour de Munster aims to raise €150,000 for Down Syndrome Ireland.
