Great cause, thanks for all the hard miles

Thanks very much Eoin for your support. It is a great cause and in the course of our various activities during the summer season we have the opportunity to visit many of the centres and projects run by DSI, which are all quite inspiring. While some of the miles are hard, I'm so happy to do the Tour now at age 60 when I wasn't fit enough to do it when I was 30 or 40!

Well done, huge distance for a great cause.

Thanks very much Daniel for your contribution. It was a fairly long distance alright. We have a great training season from April to August which is challenging but enjoyable, so barring accidents or injuries we should have have a very good chance of going the distance. Happily resting this week.

I nearly forgot! Well done Dad!

Thanks very much Eoin. The money raised will be put to good use. We had a great 4 days of cycling and the weather on Sunday was hot enough to rival Spain!

Hope it goes well Mark. Great effort for good cause. Thanks

Many thanks Calvin for your donation which you can be sure will go towards essential services for children and adults with DS. We had a great 4 days on the bikes with over 100 cyclists in the company of cycling legend Sean Kelly and Olympic rower Gary O'Dovovan. Fortunately, there were plenty of more ordinary cyclists like me who were happy just to complete the 600km route. The weather was ideal which made it even more enjoyable.

Thanks very much Greg for your support. Delighted to be back home in one piece. The body is a bit sore so a few days R&R will probably be just what the physio ordered.

Mark Winning At the end of 4 days, the challenge of getting to the top of Patrick's Hill seems a lot tougher than at the end of an evening training spin. The crowd was mighty and cheered us all the way!

Mark Winning Just as well we had all that training on the hills as there were plenty on the Tour itself. The top of Moll's Gap is always a welcome sight.

Mark Winning We have had some wonderful evening spins along the hi-roads and by-roads of Co. Cork. This ice-cream stop in Kinsale was a welcome break.
