This year, I have challenged myself to run a marathon every week in 2021. I plan to run 26.2 miles each and every week this year to raise much-needed funds for LauraLynn, Ireland’s only children’s hospice. LauraLynn needs our support more than ever. The need to provide respite, home support, crisis and end of life care to children and their families just doesn’t go away during a pandemic.

I know that while it’s a daunting challenge, I will be kept going by the fact that every euro I can raise will go directly towards care and support for children with life limiting conditions and their families. I would be more than grateful for any support you can give. A donation of any size will make a real difference to children and their families.

It costs €5m each year to provide LauraLynn's specialised care which is financed largely through the generosity of public donations.  I know there are many demands on all of us especially during these trying times. By giving anything you can, I promise I will do my best to keep going and run a marathon every week in 2021.
