I'm taking part in the Rebel Way challenge. As well as putting in a few km every day, I'm also filling in a special concertina sketchbook with drawings of my own memories of the Beara peninsula. I'll be posting pictures of my progress in the gallery.
I've chosen to fundraise for Marymount University Hospital and Hospice . All funds raised here will go directly to support their hospital and hospice services. Every year they need to raise €3.5 million to sustain their services and they have been badly impacted by Covid-19, having to cancel all of their fundraising events and campaigns.

At Marymount University Hospital & Hospice we offer you three distinct services: Our Hospital offers respite, intermediate palliative and residential care services for the older person. Our Hospice offers specialist palliative care services, at both inpatient and community level. Our Education Centre offers University and other courses, placement and conference facilities.
