The 2021 Run4Pieta takes place this year across June & July with GAA Clubs from all over Ireland taking part in order raise funds for Pieta House. Run4Pieta will also create awareness of looking after mental health. Pieta provide a FREE service and no referral is required for people who need help.
For this years fundraiser, Pieta House have kindly offered to split the funds raised by the GAA Clubs 50/50 which will support the vital services Pieta House provides aswell as supporting GAA Clubs across the country such as our own. The Killoe Young Emmets Senior Team will be doing a 24 hour run on the weekend of June 20th so stay tuned to our Clubs social media for updates on our event and please donate whatever you can. Killoe GAA Club
Killoe GAA Club serves a rural community, situated 6 miles north of Longford town in the Irish midlands. It is bordered by Newtownforbes, Drumlish, Ballinamuck, Ballinalee, Edgeworthstown and Longford Town. The major attractions to visitors include rural Irish tranquility, proximity to key fishing areas in North Longford and Cavan and the views from the slopes of Corn Hill (the highest point in Longford).
