Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page on iDonate.ie
For the 11th time I am taking part in the Tour de Munster event this August. This year I will be raising funds for Down Syndrome Cork and the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.
My daughter Emma is a 12 year old child with Down Syndrome. She needs help with her speech and language skills, she has visual difficulties and mobility challenges. In order for her to be the best person she can be she needs support and the DS Cork branch require fundraising from the public to continue to support their members.
My mother Frances was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in March 2010 and passed away from us in November 2011. This year she will be 10 years gone from us so I felt it a fitting tribute to her and the beautiful life she had that I did some fundraising in her honour.
I ask that you give generously as these are both great causes.
