Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page on iDonate.ie. I'm taking part in StepTember for DEBRA Ireland on Wednesday 1st of September 2021.  As well as committing to at least 10,000 steps each day, I will not drink!!  As most of you know, this will be harder for me than the steps, but when I see what those suffering from EB go through every day, it's a small sacrifice to make.

I've chosen to fundraise for DEBRA Ireland. All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause.I hope you can help me by donating whatever you can. Simply click the Donate button above. Recent Updates

  • To all those amazing people who supported my Debra Ireland fundraiser.. Thank you very much for supporting my Debra Ireland StepTember challenge. For the support you gave I completed at least 10,000 steps a day as promised. Harder still, I managed to resist wine, beer and alcohol of any sort for the full month - not easy when you have family get togethers, wedding anniversaries, meals out, girlie nights, etc. But I was kept motivated by the daily snippets from Debra that gave me an insight into what patients suffering from EB and their families go through every single day! I hope the funds we’ve raised will help to provide some form of respite and support and will go towards researching a cure for this horrible condition. Again, thanks a million for your support. Joyce

  • First week down… 89,333 steps completed and harder still, resisted an impressive amount of drinks at family get together on Saturday night 😳. But glad to make small sacrifice if it helps these amazing families!!
