I am taking part in the WMM virtually this year raising money for LauraLynn Children’s Hospice charity, who have been a tremendous support to my grand-niece Nora and her family through the worst of times. 

In May 2019 just a week before her first birthday, my grand-niece Nora was diagnosed with a terminal, aggressive cancer, she was given only months to live.  Following brain surgery and treatment Nora is currently beating the odds which were stacked against her by being still with us 18 months since that terrible diagnosis.  Nora and her family including her twin brother Daithi have been hugely supported by LauraLynn, the music therapy alone brought to their home each week even through the worst of the pandemic has been a fabulous experience.  LauraLynn has guided, advised, and helped them create memories for a lifetime no matter how long or short that is.
