St Nicholas Collegiate Church
The Collegiate Church of St. Nicholas is the largest medieval parish church in Ireland in continuous use as a place of worship, and is at the heart of Galway's life, under the auspices of the Church of Ireland. Founded in 1320 AD, the church has a fascinating history and nowadays provides a warm welcome to visitors from all around the world. It is used as a centre for Arts and Culture, with many varied events taking place throughout the year - the Galway International Arts Festival, Tune
