Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page on iDonate.ie. I'm taking part in Climb With Charlie on Saturday 2nd of April 2022. I've chosen to fundraise for MS Ireland and Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association. All funds raised here will go directly to these two great charities which both do tremendous work.
My journey with MS Ireland began fairly recently when on March 12th 2020 after some investigation & hospital visit I left hospital a week later with a diagnosis of Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis (RRMS). There has been some big challenges and changes in my life since my diagnosis and as it comes up on two years since that date I want to give back to MS Ireland who helped me have a greater understanding of what I am dealing with.I also want to raise awareness of the work that MS Ireland do and awareness of Multiple Sclerosis in general. I have also seen first hand the horrible effects of Motor Neurone Disease on people I have known and watched the terrible disease consume those wonderful people.Multiple Sclerosis and Motor Neurone Disease share some similarities but there are key differences between the two in terms of progression, treatment and outlook. The exact cause of both remain unknown and neither currently have a cure.
We all have mountains to climb in our lives and I want you to help me Climb with Charlie on April 2nd, what I'm asking you for is the price of a cup of coffee & a sandwich, €5 (donate more if you like!) but what I'm asking you to skip one cup of coffee & sandwich and donate €5 to this fantastic cause.
I hope you can help me by donating whatever you can. Simply click the Donate button above. All donations are processed securely. You can also share my page using Share options below. This is a great way to show your support. Many thanks for your support.
