Focus Ireland do exceptional work in supporting those who are suffering from homelessness or in threat of it.

This is such a crucial issue for modern Ireland, where the housing crisis is having an effect on nearly every demographic of our society. I know that my 30-something friends struggle to get appropriate rental accomodation and the prospect of owning a house is becoming harder and harder. 

The knock on effects are such that homelessness in Ireland is at its worst level ever. 

Just take a moment to imagine the trauma of not having a secure home to sleep in each night, or somewhere to simply return to at any stage of the day. Now imagine if you also have young children lving this same traumatic lifestyle. 

Child homelessness has increased 200% in 7 years.
