Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page on iDonate.ieThis year I'm aiming to complete the full 50 miles on June 11th.
My motivation is for my brother in law who is currently going through a gruelling regime of Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy and Radiation, in an effort to beat his cancer, which was diagnosed late last summer.
10 years ago this diagnosis could have been a death sentence. Thanks to the wonderful work and research undertaken by groups such as The Irish Cancer Society, this is no longer the case. He has options and there are fantastic cutting edge treatments which will now mean that, all going well, he will soon be living with cancer.
My 50 mile journey won't make it any easier for him as he goes through his treatment..
However the money we raise will ensure that these breakthroughs and treatments continue to evolve and help to give hope and strength to those affected by this dreadful disease.
I would really appreciate if you could make a donation - no matter how big or small, every E2 counts and is appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Please share if you can.
