Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page in aid of Down Syndrome Kerry, Ireland.
This is my first ever 100 mile cycle and I'm currently training in London (hills galore!) in support of Down Syndrome Kerry in Ireland. I primarily chose this charity in support of a friend who has a child with Down Syndrome. Additionally, my family and I supported a friend with Down Syndrome in Melbourne when I was younger and it was an inspiration to see him overcome challenging obstacles and try to live an independent life. He ended up going to my primary school, which was made possible through the support of the community.
Your help means so much! I hope you can support me by donating whatever you can. Simply click the Donate button. All donations are processed securely and funds raised will go directly to Down Syndrome Kerry.
Down Syndrome Kerry is a parent led voluntary organisation with a membership base of over 230 families and one of their main goals is "to help people with Down Syndrome make their own futures as bright and independent as possible by providing them with education, support and friendship every step of the way."
