I am delighted to be taking part in the Kirby Group charity cycle in aid of Self Help Africa.

Kirby Group Engineering have organised a 2 day cycling event which will see 800 people cycling from the Limerick to Galway on day 1 and then Galway to Dublin on day 2. The Kirby Way Cycle will be taking place on the 2nd and 3rd of September 2022.

This event promises to be a great challenge with 20 teams travelling a total of 300 Kilometers. 

The funds raised through this project will be donated to Self Help Africa and go towards:

• The planting of up to 200,000 trees across 10 countries

• The construction of 50 boreholes in rural villages, providing thousands of people with a safe, clean water supply

• Enabling 30,000 families to grow food across 10 countries

• Installing solar powered kiosks in 50 communities, each of which will power 100 households
