Hello All, As many of you are aware, I took the mad decision to take part in the Dublin Marathon this year. The training has been tough but I have enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to the big test. Unfortunately, as you may also be aware, I lost my Dad this year to cancer. This is much tougher to endure than any training I'll ever do and he is sorely missed. Although his last few months were hard, they were made more bearable thanks in no small part to the wonderful care and assistance of Wexford Hospice Homecare staff. To show our appreciation for their dedication and compassion, I have decided to set up a fundraiser in conjunction with my run to raise much needed funds for this wonderful service.
