Hi Guys.
I am raising money for my friend Padraig, who was envolved in an accident last summer whilist on a J1. He was struck by a vehicle while he was cycling to work. He currently is in a coma since last july and is recieving traetment in Germany. His family had to move to Germay while he is recieving treatment. There is a goup of swiming for 5 mins off the coast of every county that has a coastline in 2 days. It would be much appriciated you could donate any amount to help with Padraig treatment.
We are begining the event on 12th of April in Dublin and going north and around the coast finsihing that day in Galway. We will then do the southern half of the country on the 13th.
Padraig Schaler, a 2013 TCD graduate from Glasnevin, Dublin, acquired a very severe brain injury when he was hit by a van on 27 June 2013 as he cycled to work on Cape Cod. Nobody was ever prosecuted.
He is now living with his family in Dublin. He requires 24-hour care and is fully dependent.
All proceeds go to the Caring for Padraig fund, administered by a Committee independent of the family.
