This event will take place on December 26th at 2pm in the local parish of Gortnahoe/Glengoole, Co. Tipperary. This inaugural event will see past team members travel home from various destinations across the globe to play a hurling match against the current local team in a bid to raise much needed funds for the North Tipperary Hospice and Scoil Aonghusa Special School in Cashel.

About the Cause
North Tipperary Hospice Movement
North Tipperary Hospice Movement is a completely voluntary organisation depending solely on fundraising and donations. Our vision is that no one should have to face death or bereavement without appropriate care and support. We pay Milford Hospice 130,000 pa to help provide our palliative home care to people at end stage of life. We hire and have delivered specialist equipment to their homes costing 150,000pa. We also run and maintain two cancer support centres, Suir Haven in Thurles and Suaimhne
“#aonghusaworldtour - Around the World in 80 Days”
In April we launched our most ambitious fundraiser yet: “#aonghusaworldtour - Around the World in 80 Days”. Funds raised will be used to further develop our school and campus at Cahir Road, Cashel.
In order to cover the approx. 45,000km in 80 days we are asking people to:
