Hi everyone,

My name is Lauren Faul. Myself and my partner Gearóid O’ Byrne lost our beautiful son Tommie O’ Byrne on the 12th of February at 15 days old to a condition called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. 🫀

Tommie was born on the 28th of January 2025 in the Coombe hospital in Dublin and was transferred to the Children’s Heart Centre in Crumlin( Children’s Health Ireland) after birth. 💙

The care that Tommie received during his short life was nothing but exceptional from the professors, doctors, nurses, palliative care teams and health care assistants. 🩵

During Tommie’s short life we created so many memories in the Children’s Heart Centre and that was down to the staff going above and beyond for us and making us feel so welcome. It became a home away from home for us. 💙

For the month of March I am going to walk 30 miles + to help raise money for the Children’s Health Foundation in Tommie’s memory🩵

If you can donate, no matter how small, it will go directly to the Children’s Health Foundation.🩵
