As we all know Electric Vehicles are very good for the environment but the perception is that Electric cannot travel long ranges without needing to be recharged. To discredit this perception John Casey a Committee member in the Banner GAA club and fellow Electric Vehicle enthusiast Peter Bracken (ex international Rugby player) are driving an Electric Vehicle around County Clare visiting every single GAA club in the county on Saturday May 29th.
There are 52 GAA clubs in County Clare and the distance to be covered is 550km starting and finishing at the Banner GAA grounds in Ennis. We reckon it will take approximately 14 hours to complete. We have secured an Electric Vehicle from Shiells Garage Gort Road Ennis for the event.
We plan to use drone footage and have a videographer catch the vehicle during the day.
