I've chosen to fundraise for Irish Kidney Association CLG . All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause.

As most of my family and friends know, my wife Liz has received a kidney transplant. 22 years ago Liz was given the greatest gift any one could wish for, her life changing donor kidney. This was all thanks to the donors family for making this admirable decision. At 14 years old Liz was diagnosed with Chronic renal disease, both of her kidneys had failed. She spent the next 6 months on peritoneal dialysis, 11hours a day for 6 days per week. We are forever grateful to the donor and their family. 

I will be cycling from Temple Street Children's Hospital to the Galway Circle Of Life Garden to raise donor awareness and also to highlight the valuable services the Irish Kidney Association provides.
