Aine Gilhooly, a qualified solicitor and a Legal Recruitment Consultant with Hunder Savage within the Dublin legal market is participating in the Calcutta Run along with Ronan Savage, Recruitment Director at Hunter Savage.
As part of the Hunter Savage committment to support local charities in Dublin, both Aine and Ronan will be joining the anticipated 1200+ runners and walkers taking part at this event. This Legal event supports two amazing charities, the Peter McVerry Trust which provides a wide range of support to the homeless in Dublin and The Hope Foundation which promotes the protection of street and slum children in Calcutta.

The Hope Foundation
Celebrating 25 Years of HOPE
Set up in 1999 to raise funds for one girl’s home. Today The Hope Foundation (HOPE) funds 58 projects in the areas of education, healthcare, child protection, vocational training and emergency response.
HOPE works primarily with the street & slum children of Kolkata (Calcutta) and the subsequent difficulties that these children encounter. The estimated population of street children in Kolkata is over 250,000. To date HOPE has helped over 2.
Peter McVerry Trust is committed to reducing homelessness and the harm caused by drug misuse and social disadvantage. Peter McVerry Trust provides low-threshold entry services, primarily to younger persons with complex needs, and offers pathways out of homelessness based on the principles of the Housing First model and within a framework that is based on equal opportunities, dignity and respect.
