Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page on iDonate.ie I'm taking part in Remember in September. I've chosen to fundraise for Oesophageal Cancer Fund (OCF) . All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause.

I currently work for OCF within the fundraising team and have a passion for supporting their work, we are a small team but we like to think we make a positive impact! 

OCF if the national charity in Ireland for the Oesophageal Cancer, 

This cancer may not be one you initally think of when you hear the word ''Cancer'' it may be lesser known.

Oesphageal cancer has a big impact on families and people that battle this disease. We as a team are keen to highlight the symptons:

Ireland has one of the highest diagnosis rates of Oesophageal cancer in Europe with 450- 500 patient diagnosed a year. The work that OCF does and the funding that they provide helps with research, within Ireland and worldwide. 

I have personally looked after people that have faced this cancer and I would like to raise awareness and Remember them in September. 

This is why I have decided to  complete ''Remember in September''  - a marathon in  a month 42km 

My very energetic dog Neo will be completing the 42km with me also!
