Peter McVerry Trust is committed to reducing homelessness and the harm caused by drug misuse and social disadvantage. Peter McVerry Trust provides low-threshold entry services, primarily to younger persons with complex needs, and offers pathways out of homelessness based on the principles of the Housing First model and within a framework that is based on equal opportunities, dignity and respect.
Peter McVerry Trust is a national housing and homeless
charity working to tackle homelessness, social disadvantage and drug misuse. Since PMVT was established in 1983, we have supported thousands of young people on the margins of
Irish society.
In 2019 we provided crucial accommodation to over 1,700 people, each night, across Ireland. With your support we can continue to ensure that individuals
experiencing homelessness are provided with safe, long-term accommodation and
ultimately a key to their own home.
Peter McVerry Trust provides a
wide range supports across our homeless and housing services. By supporting Peter McVerry Trust you will help ensure as many people as possible
experience the positive outcomes that a home can bring.
So much of this work would not
be possible without the continued generosity and kindness of our supporters.
