Yes – in order to use this app you must first have a fundraiser account on iDonate. Click here to set one up in minutes.
Login using your iDonate fundraiser details.
Choose the fundraising page where you want to collect contactless donations.
Enter the donation amount that the donor wants to contribute.
Have the donor tap their card or phone to complete the donation.
If the donor wants a receipt, enter their email address, and a receipt will be sent to them.
The contactless donation will instantly appear on your fundraising page, and iDonate will securely transfer all donations to your chosen charity.
Your fundraiser login details are sent to you in an email when you set up your iDonate account. If you cannot locate your fundraiser login details, contact [email protected]
Tap donations are added directly to your iDonate fundraising page. The total proceeds are then transferred straight to the cause you’re fundraising for.
Yes – Our app is powered by Stripe, one of the world’s largest payment processors, handling hundreds of billions of Euros annually and providing top-tier security for online payments.
Card details stay invisible to the phone owner, the cause, and iDonate. They aren’t stored or readable, and are securely protected in transit using industry-leading encryption.
Yes – You can make Tap donations only to an iDonate fundraising page linked to a registered charity. iDonate securely transfers all funds raised on the page directly to the charity.

Neither the fundraiser nor the donor pay any fees to use iDonate Tap.
iDonate charge causes a fixed 4.5% platform fee plus a transaction fee, which we automatically deduct from the donation total. Learn more on our fees page.
