A fundraiser I Feel bad setting up , as the whole world is suffering, BUT have no choice, our need is so urgent…….

What a strange time this is, trying to raise funds for something we in the developed world are suffering from  just as much as the developing countries. It’s a time of great sorrow But a remarkable time also, we have teams of Doctors flying from e.g Cuba/china to Italy/Spain from one country to the next helping each other out, a Global Universe in action, this is what the world is about supporting each other in the time of our greatest need,

A fundraiser I Feel bad setting up , as the whole world is suffering, BUT have no choice, our need is so urgent……. What a strange time this is, trying to raise funds for something we in the developed world are suffering from just as much as the developing countries. It’s a time of great sorrow But a remarkable time also, we have teams of Doctors flying from e.g Cuba/china to Italy/Spain from one country to the next helping each other out, a Global Universe in action, this is what the world is about supporting each other in the time of our greatest need, We in the Edith wilkins street children’s Foundation have had to cancel 3 fundraisers, planned in the next month, so our running costs for food etc for the next few months are a non runner, and we just need to ask everyone to help in any way please…….. Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi Locked down a country of 1.3 Billion ppl. The predictions for India are dreadful, they estimate if they keep going the way it is going that 19 lakh (a lakh is 100,00) people will be affected by Covid 19 and over 30,000 ppl will die, We can all help in a little way & in Darjeeling in our homes we are obviously worried about our children and the local communities that are living in slums and are daily wage earners, no daily wage no food that day…… We can as a small organisation only concentrate on keeping our children safe and well, getting food and soap etc to them & I MUST reach out to people here for help, usually we would be fund raising but this dreaded disease is ravaging our whole world, Like everyone else we are promoting the washing of hands good hygiene with our children, we need to give them all their own bar of soap & towel, an of our children attached to our programmes living in the slums need dry rations to keep them going, Daily wage earners with the country closed down means no food………. It’s a hard time for everyone here in the west also but a few euro,s will go a long way to help our children survive the next 3 months, I’ve set up an I donate page below & if you can donate a 3 eu for the Soap Towel/or 23 euro to help us feed our children in our homes we will be eternally grateful …. Times are dreadful its scary its unchartered waters, But I do know we need to feed the children, just their everyday meals, the children are under lockdown like everyone else in India, Child trafficking/child labour doesn’t stop for anyone or anything, visit our website or click link below, every cent will help, thanking you, Edith Anuja & the children
