Hello all, this is a wee page set up on behalf of my Dad, Jimmy Campbell. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer four years ago and traveled on a charity bus from Donegal to Galway for his treatments. The bus was free of charge and relied totally on donations and volunteers. He made many friends on the journey's and wasn't able to drive himself so this service was invaluable. The charity is on its knees at present and needs your help. Anything you can spare. Dad grew his hair and a beard with the intentions to shave it off when the pubs re-opened! And to hopefully raise money for this charity which is very close to his heart. Dad had the hair cut and the beard shaved off last night. Does anyone need pillows filled or a thatch put on their house! Please do your best, we never know when we might need to call upon thier kind service. Many thanks, Jimmy Campbell AKA - The Great White x

About the Cause
The Good and New Cancer Charity
The Donegal Cancer Bus runs a service for people from Donegal with cancer to Galway for treatment and has been running for nearly 12 years now. The bus is sustained through donations from local people, no funding is provided from official bodies so your support is very much needed.
The bus needs 1000 euro a week to run and frequently gets to a point where without donations the service would have to cease within a few weeks.
