“5 DAYS 1200K CHALLENGE”, A FUNDRAISING EVENT FOR JIGSAW - 17/02/2021 - 21/02/2021
The goal of this challenge is to collectively run/walk/cycle/swim 1200 km and to raise €1200 for Jigsaw, the National Centre for Youth Mental Health.
Now, more than ever, mental health issues are at the centre of everyone’s concerns, and especially among young people. Jigsaw’s mission is to offer a listening ear, and to give expert advice and support to young people aged 12 – 25 years-old. They also give families, teachers, and those who support young people’s mental health ways to cope and skills to be there for young people.
We know training is not easy at the moment, so this is also a great challenge for you to (maybe) get back to it, to keep your training up and get out there! After all, we know how much exercising and sports can help with our mental health as well!
So, now, you’re probably wondering how does this work and how to participate?
