Ive been very fortunate to have both my parents survive cancer. My mum had Breast cancer and & my dad Colon cancer. Ive seen first hand how devestating this disease can be. On the 2nd of July Im taking part in the 170k cycle around the Ring of Kerry charity cycle.

I got some recent training in by cycling the Ring of Kerry this was to prepare for the upcoming Mizzen to Malin #Ride2AMillion cycle challenge for https://www.breakthroughcancerresearch.ie/about-us/ I was supported by my amazing wife and 2 girls.
Breakthrough Cancer Research funds the efficient and effective development of new treatments for cancer. We work to significantly impact the number of people who can survive this disease. Research programmes funded by Breakthrough Cancer Research must focus on translating lab discoveries into new treatment opportunities. To this end we work closely with clinicians in practice all over Ireland so that our research is targeted at finding new options for poor prognosis and incurable cancers.
