On 13th July, Smart Aesthetics Academy is holding an educational symposium for medical practitioners, patients and members of the public in the Radisson Blu, St Helen's. The theme is" Longevity, Regenerative Aesthetic Medicine & the Menopause". In keeping with the theme, we wanted to do a high-energy event to improve our own "healthy lifespan" and raise money for charity.

We're taking part in a 1hour, high-energy, indoor cycling ride with Coach Lorraine English and live Saxophonist, Andi Anderson. Lorraine English is a professional indoor cycling coach, based at David Lloyd Clubs, Belfast. With over 25 years experience and her previous experience as a professional Irish badminton player, Lorraine will test your fitness to the max. We hope you will join us.

We've chosen to fundraise for LauraLynn Ireland's Children's Hospice. All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause. This is a fantastic charity which was founded in 2011 by Jane and Brendan McKenna following the untimely deaths of their only 2 daughters, Laura (4) and Lynn (15). Both children died within 2 years of each other as a result of separate illnesses. During this difficult period, the family experienced a real lack of resources and support and were determined that no family should go unaided if faced with a similar situation.

Today, the LauraLynn Foundation provides palliative care services to children with life-limiting conditions and end-of-life care. It is split between in-hospice respite care and community at-home family support. In addition, it provides a holistic approach, supporting the wider family, including siblings and parents.

We have 30 bikes available, we would kindly ask for a €100 donation to reserve a bike. This can be raised as an individual donation, family or group. For a group donation, please make a single €100 donation and nominate a cyclist, requesting a bike. We will update the page as quickly as possible when all bikes are allocated.
