In November, I will travel to Kenya with a group of 50 inter-county GAA stars as part of \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'Plant the Planet Games 2023\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' - a partnership between Warriors for Humanity, Self Help Africa, and the Gaelic Players Association (GPA).  

I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ve chosen to fundraise for Self Help Africa. All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause. During my visit to Kenya, I will work with communities, visit cultural and climate related projects and take part in an exhibition GAA match at Nairobi rugby club. Whilst showcasing the skills of our national sport, we will plant one million trees to help reduce carbon footprint, help communities grow out of poverty and provide for families long into the future! 

In order to raise funds, 

- I am Solo Running the distance of a Marathon - (42.195km) during the month of October in locations around Cork County. I am tracking my solo run journey on my social media platforms!

- I also took part in a Spin-a-thon at the Douglas Farmer\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s market on Saturday 4th of November from 10am to 1.00pm!

- I also showcased a fantastic GAA Memorabilia Exhibition in the Midleton GAA Club Pavilion Hall on the Bank Holiday Monday the 30th of October from 11am - 5pm (Denis O\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' Sullivan\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s fantastic collection of some of the greats since the 1880\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s!)
