Update....... I'm just overwhelmed by everyone's generosity. I only went live with this today and already have reached my target goal of 2,000 euro. Thank you all so so much. As my skydive is another 3 weeks away I decided to increase my target to 3,000 euro to see if we can raise a little more for this amazing charity.  Thank you all once again,I'm just gobsmacked.

My Canine Companion aims to enhance the quality of life for people with difficulties, predominately autism, through the provision of highly qualified service dogs. It was set up in 2011 by husband and wife team Cliona O’Rourke and Niall Ruddy and they are based in Blackpool , Cork. They are Ireland’s largest provider of service dogs.

Our daughter Zoe was diagnosed with ASD in January 2019. Zoe,6 yrs old, is pre verbal and struggles with social situations. Struggles to the point where we can spend 2 hours in the car to go somewhere as a family and when we get there she might not be able to go in due to her social anxiety. This has a severe impact on us as a family.

Zoe's older sister Carly,9yrs old, is amazing with Zoe and they have a beautiful relationship. However, when Zoe cannot enter a place where we had intended on spending a lovely family day out,it is very upsetting for Carly.

After waiting for some time, we finally received our service puppy in training, Woody who is 3 months old. Woody is adorable and so clever and has quickly settled into being a member of our family.

We have 2 years of hard but enjoyable training ahead of us with Woody with a goal of bringing us back together as a family and being able to enjoy outings together .

As my caninine companion have given us this amazing chance to help Zoe and help us as a family I want to help give another family this life-changing opportunity. Anyone who knows me well knows I'm absolutely terrified of flying. I often take medication before I go on a plane but this is not possible when we are flying with the girls. So, I've decided to face a big fear of mine and do a skydive. Yes,to all my friends, I said a skydive. I will be doing this sky dive on the 30th July in Kilkenny ( Date subject to change if weather conditions are not suitable ).

My parents have kindly sponsored the sky dive so all funds raised from this will go directly to my canine companion.

I would be ever so grateful for any donation and together with your help we can help change the lives of another family.

Many Thanks for your support and I look forward to sharing my skydive experience with you.
