Drogheda River Rescue and Recovery Service
Drogheda River Rescue was set up in 1972.
We are a voluntary Search and Rescue organisation based in Drogheda. We provide a call out service to assist people who may enter the river boyne, we also operate a weekly suicide patrol along the river and provide water cover at events nationwide.
where your money goes
All monies raised goes back into the work we do. money collected could be used for fuel for our weekend patrols, or to purchase life saving equipment like throw bags etc, or could be used on equipment needed for personnel ie torches, life jackets, dry suits, etc.
