Loreto Hockey Club was founded in 1926 and is affiliated to the Leinster Branch of the Irish Hockey Association. It is one of the largest and most successful ladies clubs in Ireland with six league teams. Loreto also has a thriving junior section which caters for over 450 schoolgirls from the age of nine to eighteen.
