turn2me's purpose is to ensure that mental health and wellbeing resources and interventions are accessible to everyone so that fewer lives are lost through suicide. Established in 2009, turn2me is Ireland’s longest-serving provider of online mental health services. It has supported thousands of people at the time when they needed support. Our organisation has a network of professional counsellors, supported by community building volunteers, and a youth and advisory council which informs our work.

turn2me's purpose is to ensure that mental health and wellbeing resources and interventions are accessible to everyone 24/7 so that fewer lives are lost through suicide.

We provide accessible professional online mental health services to adults and young people aged 12 and over. Services include one-to-one counselling as well as professionally-facilitated support groups around a range of topics, coupled with clinically moderated peer support.

turn2me is a registered charity, and its services are made possible with support from the HSE, Sláintecare, and private donations.

turn2me was founded in 2009 stemming from the very personal experiences of Oisin and Diarmuid Scollard, who lost their brother Cormac to suicide in 2003. They had the vision to create a space for people to get professional support online.

In 2013 turn2me gained the support of the HSE National Office for Suicide Prevention to deliver counselling online and in 2019, turn2me joined forces with ReachOut Ireland to create a space for young people to find information to support their mental health online.

In 2020 turn2me extended pilot services to young people from age 12 with wrap-around support for parents and guardians. A special programme designed to meet the needs of frontline workers was also launched. These pilot projects are supported by the Department of Health's SlainteCare Integration Fund.
