The Boyne Fishermen's Rescue and Recovery Service is a voluntary marine search and rescue group based in their purpose built boathouse on the Marsh Rd in Drogheda Co.Louth

Based in Drogheda, Co. Louth, the Boyne Fishermen's Rescue and Recovery Service provides a 24 hour emergency rescue service along the River Boyne, 365 days a year. 

Search & recovery services are also provided to people who have lost loved ones through drowning tragedies on the rivers, lakes and sea throughout the Island of Ireland. The Boyne Fishermen's Rescue and Recovery Service aspires to answer any call for help throughout the 32 counties, and where possible shall persist with the search until the missing person is returned to their family; this aspiration has yet to be broken.

Members of the Boyne Fishermen�s Rescue and Recovery Service are highly trained and gain externally accredited qualifications in a range of skills, such as boat handling, first aid, VHF radio operation, navigation, search management and self rescue.

The Boyne Fishermen's Rescue and Recovery Service is a voluntary marine search and rescue group, based in a purpose built boathouse in Drogheda, Co. Louth, offering a range of skills and equipment to communities throughout the island of Ireland.

Along with the range of skills we poses, the Boyne Fishermen�s Rescue and Recovery Service have a substantial range of rescue and recovery equipment that we can call on when needed. Equipment ranging from simple rope to our state of the art boathouse.

where your money goes

All monies raised or donated will go towards maintaining  the life saving services we provide to the community,it will also goes towards maintaining and upgrading of life saving equipment which we use on a daily basis.
