Meath Springboard Family Support Service CLG (formerly Navan Springboard Co. Ltd.) have been working quietly for the last  20 years supporting adults in their parenting role for the benefit of their children in Co. Meath. Our aim is to improve family life for children by supporting and strengthening the parenting capacity of the adults we work with. We provide tailored programs of family support, low cost counselling, parenting support groups, and a children access support service. At any one time the service is normally supporting 100 families from across the county. Most of our work is funded by Tusla, The Child & Family Agency.

where your money goes

Meath Springboard face two key challenges during the coming year,
1) Provide counselling to children in a timely fashion and do so within a restrictive budget. (ie demand is greater than the budget).
2) We have succeeded in developing and opening a new purpose built premises, additional funding is required to fit out the building and grounds in a child centered and fun manner.
All money raised via IDonate will be used to provide child counselling and or improve quality of Mangan House for the children using our premises.

history

Meath Springboard was established in 1999 with the aim of working with families were children were deemed to be at risk. In the intervening years the service has grown in both experience and service provision. The service works alone side the parent and child to address the issues given rise to concern. We also support parents seeking assistance prior to concerns ever arising. Along side our primary work of Family Support we have also innovative by establishing the He's My Dad Program, Children's Access Support Service, and the Young Mothers Group. To better reflect our county wide remit we adopted our new name Meath Springboard Family Support Services CLG in 2016.
We adopt a partnership approach in our work with families and with other service provides. Our work is enhanced by the involvement of Tusla,The Child and Family Agency, Navan School Completion Program, Meath Women's Refuge Services, Meath County Council and other groups.
