Funds raised through Street collections, Dunnes Stores bag packing and social events are used to fund a wide variety of services to people affected by cancer but who have difficulty funding these services.AOK has a database of local service providers who offer their services free or at a discounted rate which AOK pays for.This allows people access services nearer to home.Following meeting with one of our team a referral form is filled out by the client's doctor affirming the cancer diagnosis.Confidentiality is strictly maintained and each case's requirements is decided on its merit.Depending on availablity of funds, the client is supported while undergoing cancer treatment.

Following her own diagnosis of Cancer and experiencing firsthand the additional financial challenges this disease brings, Antoinette Moore founded AOK in 2013.Cancer costs money, and the Charity was founded to assist people financially affected by Cancer. Maintaining confidentiality is essential as most people find it hard to ask for help.Raising funds locally and keeping them locally is another priority maintained.To date AOK has and continues to help people in so many practical ways from Bandon to Beara.This service can only continue through the generous support of donations and sponsored events from the good people of West Cork.We thank you.
