Down Syndrome Cork is a branch of Down Syndrome Ireland. We have a membership of 390 from all parts of the county. Our aim is to support the families and our motto is #share the journey. We share this journey from birth into adulthood. Our organisation is parent led and governed by a branch committee which meets on a monthly basis.

Our services include Parentlink which supports families of new born children with Down syndrome. We also have a speech and language department, occupational therapy, education support and physiotherapy support.

Ds Cork also organises fun and recreational activities for our members such as outings, dance, weekends away as well as many other activities requested by our members. We are currently based in Ballincollig which is primarily for our younger members. We also have our fantastic Field of Dreams project in Curraheen. The Field project is unique to Cork and currently provides education programmes for our 18+age group.
