My sister Valerie was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in June 2017. As you can imagine it was a big shock for us all but the help and support she has received from friends and family as well as the services of her medical team and that of the services of Tuam Cancer Care have been amazing. With that in mind, I have decided that I needed to do something to give back, raise awareness and hopefully raise some money for Tuam Cancer Care. I've had a few false starts with a few different fundraising ideas and this is the one I kept coming back to. 

With the popularity of the 50 shades series combined with the trivial struggle I have of hiding my grey hair (Some people have bigger things to worry about), I have decided to bare all and strip and dye my hair grey and keep it that way for 50 days. I've already shaved the hair off in 1999 for the same charity so I hope you can get behind this fundraiser and help me once more raise some vital funds. I have a few sessions to the hairdresser organised this week running up to the start date and I want to thank Michelle, Rita and all the team in RC studios in Claregalway for helping with my transition.
