The Friends of St Brigid's Hospice and Home Care Services is a voluntary organisation with charitable status and is a company limited by guarantee.

Our principal objective is to benefit the community of Co Kildare and West Wicklow by assisting, promoting and supporting the aspirations and needs of St Brigid's Hospice. All the funds raised were spent on building a new hospice. This has now been achieved and the Hospice is now in the charge of the HSE. 

Since then we now provide financial assistance towards patient comforts, further nursing education, private ambulance service, complementary therapy. 

As we have achieved our initial aim, we have temporarily suspended fundraising until our next project commences, which requires planning permission etc. Currently we are sufficiently funded to support our current work for the patients and staff.
