Online Charity & Non Profit Fundraising Services

Women’s Aid is dedicated to ending domestic violence. We run the 24hr National Freephone Helpline and an instant message support service on www.womensaid.ie.  The National Helpline provides a listening ear, practical informaiton and emotional support.  It is also a gateway to one to one support services across the country.  Women's Aid also carries out public awareness campaigns, acts to change laws and systems, and provides specialist training on responding to domestic violence.

Women's Aid is a leading national frontline organisation in Ireland supporting women subjected to domestic violence and abuse. Our National Freephone Helpline 1800 341 900 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Covid-19 has made the world a very small and dangerous place for women being subjected to domestic violence. It is even harder to escape the terror hidden behind the four walls of their homes; to reach out, to talk – to ask for help.  That’s why we need your help so urgently. Because there is a way out. A route to freedom.  Experience tells us, that at some stage, a woman in danger will finally have access to a phone or she will find a safe moment to secretly reach out. And it’s absolutely critical that Women's Aid is there on the other end of the line at that crucial moment.

Since 1974, we have been working in Ireland to make women and children safe from domestic violence by offering free, confidential support and providing a range of services to help women break free from domestic abuse and begin to rebuild their lives. We're here to listen, believe and support women being subjected to physical, emotional, economic and sexual abuse by a partner or ex.

With your wonderful support, Women’s Aid will make sure that day or night – 7 days a week – we will be ready to help women in their darkest hour. To help them find freedom. And independence.
