Portlaoise Musical Society are an award winning amateur musical society based in Portlaoise, Co. Laois. 

Our mission is simple: to promote Musical Theatre in the area by staging an annual production in our local theatre which will showcase the talent, dedication and growing potential of the  Society’s committee, cast and crew.

We strive to provide a creative space for members, near and far, to express their love of all things theatre and music.

Each November we stage a production in our local theatre for 8 nights to sold out audiences. Unfortunately, ticket sales alone do not cover the costs of putting on such massive productions and therefore need to fundraise in order to meet the deficit.
