Kilkee SAC, Search & Recovery Unit based in West Clare. Kilkee Sub Aqua club was founded in 1982 to promote scuba diving in the West Clare area. The club has 40 plus members and dive all year round. KSAC also houses a Search & Recovery Unit, these services are provided on a voluntary basis and require members to undergo extensive training and the club to invest in a wide range of specialist equipment. 

2020 was a very challenging year with key fundraising events being cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions. As restrictions continue in 2021 we are creating alternative sponsorship events and are appealing for online support. This vital funding will go towards the service and upkeep of Search and Recovery equipment such as Air compressor Maintenance, Boat and Trailer Maintenance, medical first responder equipment and future building plans.
