Candle of Grace is a charitable organisation set up in Castlebar, Co. Mayo.
Our main activity is hosting groups of Chernobyl children from Belarus in the summer for much needed rehabilitation rest.
Since the war started in Ukraine, we have been sending trucks of humaitarian aid directly into Ukraine with the help of our colleague the Director of the Red Cross, Kviv Region. Candle of Grace also provides support directly to Ukrainian refugees here in Ireland, providing transport from the airport, organising accommodation, schools, social services and providing English classes in our school in Islandeady outside Castlebar.
