I'm taking part in Croagh Patrick for Pádraig on Saturday 14th of March 2020 . I'll be hiking  up the mountain in order to raise funds for Pádraig. All funds raised here will go directly to Pádraig to help with his continued rehabilitation.

Pádraig, one of my good friends, was knocked from his bike by a truck while on J1 in Cape Cod, shortly following his completion of his undergraduate studies. As a result, he received a severe brain injury which has had a significant impact on his and his family's life. In the seven years since his accident, Pádraig has defied many of the odds by managing to recover significant functions, such as being able to eat without tubes. He no longer needs a tracheostomy and he has recovered a significant amount of motor function. He communicates through using his tongue and is currently struggling to recover more independence and communicative skills. Pádraig and his family need major support and will continue to need this support in the years ahead. His family have sacrificed much to do everything they possibly can and he and they need your help!
